I professionally appraises horses. Many of my clients have horses appraised for a wide variety of reasons, such as insurance claims, tax purposes, divorces, loans, bankruptcies, business partnerships, estate settlements, family trusts, and so on.
I do my work in compliance with national appraisal standards, the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), the same standards all professional real estate and personal property appraisers use.
I realize you don't need to have horses appraised everyday. However, when you do need to have one appraised you want a value that you can depend on. I appraise horses in a manner that can be explained, that is based on solid market research and analysis, that leads to a provable market value, and that complies with national appraisal standards.
